A Los Angeles-based actress, Michelle Mao recently played the role of Lisa Randall in the Netflix movie Metal Lords, a musical comedy written by Game of Thrones co-creator D.B. Weiss. The film follows an unlikely group of high school students as they form a heavy metal band to compete in the Battle of the Bands. In 2021 Michelle Mao also played the series lead in the pilot episode of the series All I Want Is Everything, directed by Alexandra Cuerdo,

In addition to film and television roles, Ms. Mao sang in the hit song Never Over by BEAUZ, which achieved viral success in China. Currently pursuing a master of arts in global affairs from Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University, Ms. Mao holds a bachelor of arts from the University of California, Berkeley.

When she is not working as an actress, Michelle Mao enjoys singing, dancing, and practicing taekwondo. Additionally, she watches movies and television series, counting FOX’s Next Level Chef and HBO Max’s Station Eleven among her favorites.
